The Po Po

I've heard of folks not liking the five-oh, but when our canine citizens begin to launch unprovoked assaults on the police, something is askew in the world. Perhaps the officer had a bacon donut (BACON!) with her at the time of the attack. Really, bacon donuts are among the most popular.

There's not much that can be said. Winston, for certain, should receive the all-time highest award for Ruiner of Shit. You can see the video here

Guest Shit Ruiners

Susannah G. shares the pain and the joy of caring for and loving "Ruiners of Shit" and opted to share her story. It seems she has two ROSs under her charge. Witness the two angels, the white one is Saidah, an English Pointer and the dark one is Nixie, a German Shorthair mix - both rescues... Saidah was rescued as an adult a few years ago and Nixie as a pup last summer. Do note the slightly open eye of the black and white dog. She's watching you...


According to Susannah, the white pointer is the worst destroyer that she has ever owned.... she even destroyed a ride on mower! (WTF? How is that even possible?) The two of them egg each other on, and this day was due to cabin fever.... She lost three cushions during the 2 day snow storm!

Sideboard? No, Tasty Snack

This is Auggi in my office. No, he did not manage to eat off his own head. Do note the scratches on the desk drawer. They were created by the resident furniture re-designer. I believe he felt that the plain brown surface required a little "something". Turns out, he thought teeth marks would have a nice effect.

Perhaps, in his wacky doggie mind, he sees this as his den and if the marks on the outside of his den are large, then predators, like the office interns, will believe he is huge and leave him alone.

Below, behold yet another Furniture by Auggi Creation. He managed to take a nice hunk out of the top of the foot of the sideboard in our living room. Not the best photo quality, but you get the idea. The other day I returned home and found he had made tasty bits out of new, in the box, humidifier filter. Really? How can this stuff be appealing?

I'll admit, this is not a truly unique idea as there already exists a blog entitled "ShitMyKidRuined". It did serve as the inspiration for this blog and I was prompted to begin after a failed attempt to see Alice in Wonderland. 100 pre-teens and only front row seats for 90 minutes of 3D entertainment was not my idea of a fun night. Of course, Auggi, my 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd Dog displayed his displeasure by destroying a $40 bottle of slate tile sealant just purchased to complete a slate tile back splash that is in progress in the kitchen.

This is Auggi. The picture was taken at the height of his adorableness. He is still cute, but much larger. He ruins something every time he is left home alone. In fact, he devoured my "surprise" birthday cake and left nothing but a cleaned plate and some of the candles. He is an asshole. But I love him.
